A farewell to a friend

Monday night, Domino ran away.

The logistics of how he got out are very sketchy... he's terrified of the outdoors, and would never willingly go out on his own. We don't even know how he got out of the apartment, let alone the building. I have my suspicions, but in lieu of making formal accusations, I'll simply say I suspect foul play and mischievous neighbor kids were involved.

We've put up fliers, sent out multiple search parties, talked to all local authorities... All we can do now is wait and hope for the best.

I want to formally thank all my friends who jumped to the call of duty and helped us search all over the place till odd hours of the night. Though our search was fruitless, it means volumes to me that you were willing to spend your evening digging around in the darkness with naught but flashlights and kitty treats.

... We hope to see him again soon... I'll keep everyone posted.
