Google Chrome

Some of you may know that Google released their own web browser the other day, called Chrome. Some of you may also have expected me to jump on that bandwagon immediately, given that it's supposed to be 5x faster than even Firefox.

However, I have not... yet.

There's a certain part of me that fears Google in the same way I fear Microsoft - when a company gets that big, I wonder if their monopoly over the web can truly be benevolent. At what point does it become a self-serving money machine?
